"This presentation addresses the very common scenarios that we encounter in clinical practice. I truly enjoyed it and it made me remember those patients vividly and how I wrestled with what the next step should be. My questions were all clearly answered to satisfaction. Thanks."

"Even though this series is a few years old it was an excellent, well-organized succinct presentation series on Diabetes Mellitus:  An American Epidemic.  Your lecture was greatly enhanced not only by your experience and expertise as a Physician, but as a Program Director @ Ochsner Medical Center.  In addition to your proficiency and experience as an Endocrino-logist and Director of the Ochsner Diabetes Clinical Research Unit Department of Endocrinology Diabetes and Metabolic Diseases and an associate Internal Medicine Residency Program Director.

Yet another informative lecture in your series on the management of the complexities of diabetes.  Excellent review of the ADA guidelines regarding guidelines to consider with respect to complications regarding microvascular, macrovascular and metabolic co-morbidities.

The power point slides with algorithms and flow charts were great tools to aid the pt with their treatment and to assist them to reach their goals with their glucose levels fasting and postprandial.

Reducing the comorbidities with diabetes is the goal and when a pt achieves there goal, it is wonderful to see how you have measured their success.  I know many of my patients get so excited with their positive changes that they will ask me before they get the scales what was their last weight or A1C was before I even sit down.

Excellent power point with up-to-date research treatment regarding the epidemic in America concerning Diabetes Mellitus.

Thanks,

Valerie"
