Overconfidence and Diagnostic Error

In August of 2013, JAMA Internal Medicine published, "Physicians’ Diagnostic Accuracy, Confidence, and Resource Requests, A Vignette Study," highlighting the role that overconfidence can play in a medical misdiagnosis.
