"Very good presentation. Re' the patient you presented: would you not want to know why she stopped all the long-acting meds (controllers), 2 years ago, eg was it because of cost, insurance difficulties, side-effects or ?  and then tailor the new action plan-incl education-- based on the reasons rather than just following the Guideline ?"

"Carol, very succinct presentation! Kudos! I teach my students, residents that all that wheezes is NOT Asthma! Esplly  In kids!there are other etiologies, you touched on several good points, best of which is taking a detailed history, other tests, before starting inhalers etc! How reliable is pH probe testing for reflux? In adults sleep apnea is also possibility or no?causing wheezing?love to hear your take., thanx"
