The Medicare/Medicaid Dual Eligible Population

Dual eligible beneficiaries, individuals who are eligible for both Medicare and Medicaid, are among the poorest, sickest, and costliest patients. Dual eligibles require integrated care which neither standard Medicare or Medicaid FFS support. This QuantiaMD course will assist you in understanding dual eligibles, caring for dual eligibles through an integrated Model of Care, and review multiple health care programs designed specifically for dual eligibles, including the Medicare-Medicaid Coordination Office Demonstration program.
